The main idea behind the cover was identity. The halftone “yam porrage” covering the unknown womans eyes invites the viewer to associate her with any of the twelve characters not giving any one any particular weight (for the most part) as they are just as important as the next. The physical nature of paper weaving envokes a feeling of domestic craft while the textural nature of the lightly torn paper gives the piece a lived in feel. The text being slanted at a 45º angle alludes to and almost pastiches old National Theatre posters.
